Message to our customer – Westisle Covid-19 response
Westisle has introduced measures to keep our employees safe, serve our customers with the highest standards and do our part to slow community spread of the virus.
Social Distancing
Our technicians are maintaining 6’ of separation from others while performing tasks on job sites. If technicians are having trouble maintaining this distance and are unable to create the space, consider rescheduling the work to take place after hours when safe distances can be observed. We are allowing our technicians to complete work orders without a customer signature, in order to avoid customer touching the in-field tablets. Further to this we will be avoiding direct contact/touching with people and will be not be allowing visitors into the office. As the situation changes each day, we’ve also implemented guidelines for future escalation plans. This includes sharing best practices on avoiding large groups, and comprehensive options for office staff to work remotely.
Travel
Westisle will be prioritizing emergency calls, and postponing non-emergency work as much as possible. We have also implemented a 14-day self-isolation policy for anyone who has returned from an affected country or has come in close personal contact with someone who has returned from an affected country.
Hygiene
All Westisle workers have access to hand sanitizer, gloves and anti-bacterial wipes, and have been given guidance to help be extra vigilant and adopt best practice hygiene measures. Staff feeling unwell are urged to seek medical advice and self-isolate. As government guidance evolves, Westisle will follow protocol to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.
